Miscellanées, volume 3

19.50

Today, much of the organ literature from before the 19th century is available online and can be downloaded for free. But how can we know exactly what we are looking for, or find in this multitude the piece that corresponds to our expectations, when faced with this immense, almost inexhaustible reservoir?
These Miscellanées III are aimed at amateur organists (in the good sense of the word) who simply want access to easy pieces adapted for use in the liturgy. Each of the sixty or so pieces in this collection — often without pedals — is technically straightforward and can be quickly learned and refined, from Sunday to Sunday.
In this ‘functional’ selection, tailored to the needs of liturgical organists, Orgues Nouvelles offers a panorama of styles and periods that have shaped organ literature, featuring works from the 19th to the 21st century in French, German, English, Italian and Spanish.
This is a European musical journey that will add colour to services throughout the liturgical year.
