ORGUES NOUVELLES IS AIMED AT ORGANISTS AND FRIENDS OF THE ORGAN,
AS WELL AS MUSICIANS AND MUSIC LOVERS FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE.
Orgues Nouvelles: A Human Adventure
The organ is a fascinating instrument that is more relevant than ever. It permeates our daily cultural life, whether sacred or secular, thanks to the many enthusiasts who are committed to bringing it to life day after day.
The history of this instrument is therefore a human adventure. It is, or will become, the story of many of you; the story of a life-giving instrument that impresses and moves, and definitively attracts those fortunate enough to get close to it. It occupies a special place in the musical family and interacts with its keyboard “brothers” (pianists and harpsichordists), singers, and of course all those who maintain a link with it from near and far: builders, composers, orchestras and associations.
Orgues Nouvelles is at your service now more than ever in maintaining and disseminating this history.
Our ambitions
Reach out to organists and all those involved in the future of this prestigious instrument.
Collect and disseminate all news concerning the organ, its music and its musicians, and to inform, educate and react. We also want to magnify its repertoire for worship and rehabilitate, revitalise and establish its place in secular instrumental concerts.
In this way, Orgues Nouvelles highlights its strong European identity in terms of heritage, music, and society.
The Origins
Orgues Nouvelles was founded in 2008 under the passionate drive of Georges Guillard, Rémy Fombon and Jean-Michel Dieuaide, with the support from the beginning of prominent figures from the organ scene (Bernard Foccroulle, François Espinasse, Franck Vaudray…).
